Andy and I took Murphy for a walk in the snow in the park and around the lake. A swan nearly attacked me and Murphy, I got such a fright (see me running away).....

Spa Day

My Christmas present from Andy was a Spa Day at the Aqua Sana Spa at Centre Parcs in Longleat Forest. We went on Sunday 27 December, and the weather was crisp, but lovely and sunny. We stopped off on the way at Stonehenge for some photos, and a little further for some breakfast.

When we arrived at Centre Parcs, we parked at the Spa and wondered I way up through the beautiful woodlands to the Plaza for a swim and a play on the rapids, super tubes and wave pool.

After our swim, we walked back down and stopped a the Pancake House for the most decadent Banoffee waffles and pancake. Yummmmm!

We wondered back to Aqua Sana Spa - click here - and booked in for our self applied mud bath together. This was amazing! After our treatment we relaxed in the Spa's relaxation lounge overlooking the forest, and then went on to sample every steam room and sauna in the Spa, as well as the foot baths and the outside heated pool. We also enjoyed chilling in the relaxation and bubble room - so peaceful!



Following on from our Spa, Andy took me for a lovely romantic dinner at Cafe Rouge in the main complex. We arrived home safely at 11pm, well relaxed, rested and fed.

Thanks my love for one of the best days of my life!! I enjoyed Centre Parcs so much, the whole family has booked in there for a week's break in May! Can't wait, we'll definitely visit the Spa again!

Christmas 2009

We spent Christmas Eve at Leon's House. We shared presents and really enjoyed watching Liam enjoy his new toys. The highlight of the evening must have been Elizma's gift to Leon. A beautiful painting of Liam, which brought us all to tears.

Christmas Day we spent at Andy's Mum & Dad's place. Carole cooked a lovely traditional meal, and we played some Wii Games in the evening.

Let it snow

The week leading up to Christmas has been very white in Reading, where I live. So much so, that the whole town came to a stand still with grid locked traffic for almost 9 hours! I could only leave work at 1:30am on Monday 21 Dec. So much chaos, but very pretty nonetheless!
